The client requested an area where he could relax with family and friends, and also golf putt in the comfort of his garden.

The main part to this installation was guaranteeing the grass would be fit for purpose.

The key part to artificial grass installation is getting the levels right. This is especially important in golf putting greens as you want the ball to roll on its trajectory. We used 50% more grano/granite dust to get the levels spot on. 2x regulation sized putt holes were also installed and covered with membrane to not damage the putting holes on installation. A semi-circle cut was requested which was to be in the middle of the length of the ProPutt grass from corner of the sleeper to the stone. We carefully cut the grass and joined this with the Harpenden 38 grass to provide a flush finish.

Harpenden 38 artificial grass with its 38mm pile height acted as a border for the golf ball to stay within the putting green. Kiln Dried Sand infill was used on the putting green to provide weight/stability to the grass and also allow the golf ball to move freely.
