Two quotes can both say “40 m² artificial grass” but be completely different underneath. We compare the full specification to make sure you’re comparing the same quality, preparation and installation.

  2. 1 Artificial grass We supply and install high-quality, UK-tested grass to suit your garden, including pet-friendly and family-friendly options.
  3. 2 Ground preparation We excavate to the required depth and prepare the area to ensure a stable, long-lasting installation.
  4. 3 Sub-base A compacted MOT Type 1 sub-base provides strength, stability and excellent drainage.
  5. 4 Laying course A 20mm Grano or sharp sand laying course creates a smooth, even surface for the grass.
  6. 5 Weed membrane A high-quality weed membrane is installed to help prevent weed growth from below.
  7. 6 Edging We install secure, durable edging to keep your lawn in place and finish the edges neatly.
  8. 7 Joining & fixing Our team professionally joins and fixes the grass using the correct methods for a seamless finish.
  9. 8 Infill (where required) We apply kiln-dried silica sand, zeolite (pet-friendly) or shockpad where required, depending on your chosen system.
  10. 9 Waste removal All excavated soil, waste and packaging are removed from site, leaving your garden tidy and ready to enjoy.
  11. 10 Professional installation Our experienced team handles every stage of the installation to the highest standard.

  4. 4 We match it, or beat it We compare the full specification. If it is the same installation for less, we will match the price, and we may beat it by up to 10%.

What does like-for-like mean?

The same installation: the same garden, the same or an equivalent grass, the same groundwork (excavation depth, sub-base and laying course) and the same scope, including edging, joining, waste removal and labour.

Why do you ask for their Trustpilot link?

So we are comparing like with like: the same job, from a company whose customers you can read about, against ours.

What if the other installer uses a different grass?

Send it anyway. We will compare the two grasses and tell you honestly how they differ. We stock 22 grasses, so there is often a close equivalent.

What does your quote include?

Excavation, waste removal, sub-base, laying course, membrane, grass, edging, joints and labour are all in the quoted price. There is no separate skip cost to find later.
