Which grass should I choose?
It comes down to use. For a family garden, a soft 30–40mm blend such as EasyCare or Comfort. For dogs, PetComfort or DrainMax, which drain faster. For play areas and pitches, PlaySafe or a 3G surface. Tell us how the space is used and we will narrow it to two.
What does pile height change?
Longer pile looks lusher but flattens faster under traffic, and it slows a ball down. Shorter, denser grass wears better and is easier to brush. Most domestic lawns land between 30mm and 40mm.
Can I buy the grass without installation?
Yes. You can order any of our grass for delivery without using our installation service. If you are laying it yourself, the base preparation is where most DIY installations go wrong, so ask us before you start.
How much does it cost installed?
A full installation — the grass, the groundwork, labour and taking the old lawn away — usually works out between £60 and £80 per m², and £70 is about typical. Send us your address and a few photos and we will put a fixed price in writing.
