About DrainMax 35mm
High-Performance Drainage Artificial Grass for All-Weather Use
The DrainMax is specifically engineered for gardens where drainage is a priority. The enhanced PP backing features an increased number of pre-punched drainage holes, allowing water to disperse at rates of up to 3600L/hr/m² — keeping the surface usable even in wet conditions.
The 35mm wave-shaped yarn provides good resilience and a natural, realistic appearance, while the durable construction ensures long-term performance in exposed or high-rainfall locations. The recyclable PP backing adds an environmental benefit without compromising drainage capacity.
UV stabilised for up to 10 years and requiring no sand infill, the DrainMax is a practical year-round surface backed by a 10-year performance guarantee.

We lay it on a properly prepared base: the old lawn taken out, a compacted Type 1 sub-base, a fine granite dust laying course and a weed membrane, with fixed edges and taped seams. Our own teams install across London, Surrey and Hertfordshire.
